In Search of My Dream Land

In search of my new land of dreams,
I set my sails open in seven seas.
Drawing in the tangy taste of air,
I hold my wheel of fortune with pride.

While the vastness and depths continue to surprise,
Anxiety starts slipping by.
What if’s and When? start to brood over,
As violent storm approaches near.

Voluminous tides sweep and throw me away,
Suffocated and tired I fall apart.
No more controlling the Wheel of fate,
Once I thought was under my name.

Lost and directionless in vast blue scape,
I try to find where i stand.
Slowly and eventually Sun shines and confusion subsides,
As I find compass of determination inside.

  9. @rosh....glad u noticed that...thr was a reason y i used sea voyage in comparison to life ( every direction looks almost same n it is so easy to get lost in thr)....with that even the wheel denotes control of fate
